I used Royal Mayfair from the moment it was released until it was declared discontinued. I don’t know whether fragrances change from country to country, but the version I used to find in Italy had the following notes: top notes of jasmine, rose, and tuberose; heart notes of cedarwood and sandalwood; base notes of amber, musk, and vanilla.
Over the years, I went through dozens and dozens of bottles of Royal Mayfair.
Now I’d like to share my impressions of the fragrance London Crown 1474.
At first impact, smelling the fragrance from the atomizer, I noticed an almost oriental scent, different from Royal Mayfair.
As soon as I sprayed it on and let it evaporate a bit, I realized it is simply perfect. On an instinctive and emotional level, I immediately recognized my beloved Royal Mayfair.
Since it was discontinued, I’ve tried every inspired version on the market, and none comes as close as London Crown 1474—some are too dry, others too sweet.
This one is perfect. There’s nothing more to add.
Congratulations, you’re geniuses!
Please, never stop producing it!
