Admiring For Men - 1705

I’ve ploughed through my first 60ml extract bottle, about to start my second. I’ve started layering this with Angel’s Paradise and I go to sleep every night and start each day with it on. Literally can’t stop myself!!? A testament to how good PP are making perfumes. Amazing Penhaligon dupe well done guys

I just stumbled on the correct way of using these perfume (this is true for all their products) and its the way most women use it (I am a man). I always used to spray it directly on my body and I was very very disappointed with very strong smell of ethanol and no notes of the perfume.
turns out, you are supposed to spray it into the air from a distance and let the droplets settle on you. then you get the notes and not the ethanol base.

Really enjoy wearing this fragrance, suits my demographic 50+ .. that's not to say younger men can't enjoy this .. Barber shop feel but with more sophistication. P.P have done great with this one ( extrait de parfum) .

Can't comment on closeness to OG however the smell is fantastic, highly recommend for your collection for the coming colder months. I'd say go for extract though as edp hasn't got the best projection IMO

I love penhaligon brand and the O.G of Lord George, however I can’t justify spending £230 a bottle. This is close enough for me for a fraction of the price. Another to add to the collection, very happy with this.

Very similar to the original and given other reviews I was surprised how long it lasted.

I have ordered a number of items from Perfume Parlour over the last month or so and have been continually impressed with the quality and accuracy of the fragrances produced to those they are homaging. OG opening smells more boozy round and expensive but step by step they become very similar, so jump the first minutes and wait for it. For sure it's a bit edgy compared to the OG but hey it's close enough imho

I really wanted to try the official scent by Penhaligon however that price tag stopped me dead in my tracks. I am grateful to have seen this though and I am in love with this scent! I'm definitely buying full bottle once my roller runs out

I like to buy PP and compare to frags I own, this is very very close.

This is a great George, at about £200 cheaper. A Classy and expensive smelling scent, you will stand out from the sea of mundane familiar fragrances. More leaning older imo but a young guy can rock it.

A beautiful fragrance just a pity that it doesn't last on my skin after a few minutes its gone. I would have purchased more if it had staying power.

The original is a bit more effervescent in the opening, but this one is almost identical in the dry down. One of my favourite Penhaligon's fragrances. Pure class.

Review for oil - This is an amazing scent. Almost indistinguishable from the original. Just not quite as long lasting. Phenomenally good value for such a great fragrance. Definitely going to try the extract next.

I have a decant of the original. The opening is a bid different, after a few minutes it smells 99% same. Great fragrance for a great price.

Very similar. Original has an old school shaving foam top note whereas this has a more citrus, when have worn for about an hour the citrus starts to die down a bit. Very good but not quite as strong as original.

Amazing! Smells just like the real thing, best pp fragrance imo
