After my original review a couple of weeks ago, when I said the fragrance improves after 2 weeks in a dark cupboard, I wanted to add an update. When my bottle first arrived, I must admit I didn’t like it……I felt it was too heavy on the oud. I put it away in a dark cupboard, and two weeks later discovered this sweet, creamy sandalwood. The oud is still apparent, but beautifully well balanced. Now it is my favourite winter/spring fragrance.

I ordered a sample this fragrance from The Perfume Shop online and initially wasn’t sure about it. It’s richness and smoothness grew on me and I realised I needed the perfume parlour equivalent so I that could have full sized bottle. I ordered the perfume parlour 13ml edp spray. It arrived this week and I was so impressed. The scent is so similar to the original and I could still smell it on my clothing the day after spraying it. I will be reordering this one as soon as I’ve used it up.
